Extra Credit
Q. Can I earn some Extra Credit to bring up my low grades?
Yes. By doing a book report on "Invitation to Valhala" by Mike Whicker. The length of the book report is opened ended. How indepth you go with your analysis is also up to you. Just remember "the more you give me the more I give you". The due date is 10 days before the end of the marking period that you want this extra credit applied to.
This book is of local interest dealing with a Nazis spy in Evansville. It is a fictionalized account of actual events that occured during WWII.
The ship LST -325, now a floating museum, selected Evansville as its home port in part due to this book.

Q. I am almost done with my extra credit project can I turn it in late?
No. All extra credit is due ten days before the end of the marking period. If you turn it in closer than 10 days it will be applied to the following marking period.

Software and Computers
Q. My computer does not have Microsoft Word. How can I write papers?
MS Word is expensive and may not be installed on new computers. However, there is an open source, free to use, office suite called OpenOffice. It is distributed by the GNU license and is free to download and use on as many computers that need a productivity suite.
Open Office 2.0 includes a full function productivity suite:
