Game Room. Today 12/23/2010 I delivered the finished table to Matt Buyer's house. The whole set is a project I've been working on since August. Here is a view of the DM chair and games behind. Matt did all the faux rock painting on the wall. Below is a reverse view. The windows have a fake stain glassed covering on them. The DM researched the ancestral family crests of all the players in the group. Shown below is my chair. It actually shows the Lamont crest as Holm is an Ellis Island invention. On the wall are the DM's and his wife's family crests. Some of the wood working details are shown below. The Chairs are from an SCA pattern I found on line. The Table was all my own design. I'm a bit proud of how well matched they are. On the spanner notice the cloverleaf design which is an inverse to the quatrefoils. Here's me in the extra great chair. (I know its blurry). The double doors are wood panels. On the other side it still looks like a regular door. Here's me in the corner. Here is a link to a diagram showing how the table leg is connected to the table top. |
